HISTORY

After moving into his first home, Jack Moore discovered water softening systems and decided to begin a career in the water treatment field. Along with his wife Mary, Jack ran a successful water business in Kitchener, Ontario for 12 years. The Moores sold their interest to a partner and moved north to Barrie, an area they came to enjoy while boating at Port Severn. In November 1990, they opened Aquamart. The business has been operating at the same location in Barrie, Ontario for over 30 years. Aquamart remains a fixture in Barrie and surrounding areas as a water supermarket.
